Course Information
Beyond Hope specializes in informal small group residential courses tailored to suit your individual requirements and skill level. We are committed to conservation and minimizing the impact of our business on the local environment. As such these considerations are paramount when planning all our activities. As well as our set courses, we can also offer tailor made or one-to-one courses in all subjects as well as other outdoor activities using our associates. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Bookings
Provisional reservations on a course may be made electronically or by phone. We do however require the completion of an individual booking form (may be completed online or downloaded) from each member of your family / group. These should then be sent with a cheque to: Beyond Hope PO Box 7172, Bakewell, Derbyshire, DE45 9AH.
Please note that currently we are unable to accept individuals under the age of 18, unless they are directly supervised by a parent or guardian for the duration of the course. For specific queries relating to a specific course please feel free to contact us either prior to or after booking. We are always more than happy to answer questions regarding your course.
What's included?
All our residential courses include:
B & B Accommodation for Residential Courses
Our accommodation, provided by the Woodbine B & B, in the centre of Hope village, is in homely 16th century cottages and comprises twin and double rooms, most with ensuite facilities. All the rooms are centrally heated and non-smoking. We have a guest lounge with TV and tea making facilities, off road parking and drying facilities for your wet clothing and boots.

Please note on some courses a single person supplement may be charged. (See individual courses for details or contact for further information)
Equipment
- On most of our courses equipment and materials are included (please see individual course details).
- In addition, for the majority of course programmes you will have to provide your own personal outdoor equipment.
Tuition
- All tuition.
Insurance
We strongly recommend that you take out your own personal holiday insurance to cover personal accident or injury, damage or loss of your personal effects, and against having to cancel or cut short your holiday.
Weather
Outdoor activities are always dictated, to an extent, by the weather and the prevailing conditions. As a result, this may affect course venue and content.
